Intermediate Carbine
The Intermediate Carbine Course builds upon the fundamentals established in a Basic Carbine program and is designed to enhance the participant’s proficiency, confidence, and weapon control. This course emphasizes efficient weapon manipulation, improved accuracy, and the application of carbine skills in more complex training environments.
Instruction focuses on refining shooting fundamentals while introducing intermediate-level concepts such as movement, positional shooting, target transitions, use of cover, and more complex malfunction recognition and clearance techniques. Participants will also develop increased efficiency in weapon handling and decision-making under time constraints.
Live-fire training exercises are conducted under close instructor supervision and progressively increase in complexity. Safety, situational awareness, and strict adherence to established range procedures are emphasized at all times.
This course is intended for participants who have successfully completed a Basic Carbine Course or possess equivalent training and experience.
