Defensive Pistol
Defensive Pistol is designed to help students become more physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared to survive a violent encounter. This course covers the core principles of threat engagement and is built to develop both critical thinking and shooting skills, allowing students to carry with confidence.
The focus is on building the ability to quickly assess and rapidly engage threats. Students will work through drills that emphasize drawing from concealment and finding the proper balance between speed and precision. The course then builds upon these fundamentals by introducing drills focused on engaging threats in everyday environments.
Students will learn multiple shooting positions and how to engage threats under conditions they may realistically encounter in daily life. Training includes exposure to stressful scenarios that require students to think critically while maintaining accuracy and control.
